The Google Nest Hub is a smart display and smart home hub developed by Google. It features a touchscreen display combined with the Google Assistant, allowing users to control smart home devices, watch videos, view photos, and get personalised information through voice commands and touch interactions.

I have experience using the earlier version of the nest hub. The second generation of the Google Nest Hub retains most of the features from its predecessor. However, it now comes with an added feature called Google Soli low-power radar. This innovative technology allows the device to detect motion without relying on a camera. One of the exciting applications of this feature is Motion Gestures, which can be activated by simply slapping your hand towards the screen. With this, you can easily snooze alarms or control media playback by pausing or playing with a simple gesture. It's a surprisingly efficient and convenient alternative to using your voice.

The device is the ideal centrepiece for your smart home. With both touch and voice control, you can conveniently manage your lights from any corner of the house, whether it's the living room or the upstairs bedroom. Not only that, but you can also adjust the volume on your TV and even inquire about the weather conditions outside before heading out for your run.
